How we help

Since 2010 we have been here to educate, support and raise awareness to improve the lives of those with PoTS.

92%

found all or most of the topics discussed at our Peer Support Groups relevant to their PoTS.

91%

of you say that the information on the Managing PoTS section on our website is essential/really useful and invaluable in helping with PoTS symptoms.

Our Mission, Vision and Values are at the heart of everything we aim to do!

We work with healthcare professionals and other charities in the UK and abroad, and advocate for our members by seeking better NHS services, more research, and targeted treatments for people with PoTS.

Every week our fantastic volunteers host 2-3 Online Peer Support groups, that provide the perfect opportunity to talk to others who understand what you are going through.

We have a wonderful team of specialist support nurses who manage our support email account and try to support you however they can.

We post almost daily on our social media platforms, keeping you updated with latest developments, news, PoTS events, national events and holidays. We promote positive communication from members, including thoughts, suggestions, questions and ideas that may be of benefit to others.

  • Share your stories, highlighting your PoTS journey, road to diagnosis and the difficulties that PoTS presents.
  • Have a comprehensive guide on our website to help you deal with the different things that will be thrown at you on a daily basis!
  • Record training and information videos that can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
  • Produce downloadable leaflets and booklets for you to share with healthcare providers and others who may benefit from learning more about PoTS.
  • Continue to raise awareness, especially throughout the month of October when we mark our PoTS Awareness Day.
