Educational Videos: Educational Programme for People With PoTS

Welcome to our educational programme for people with PoTS.

PoTS UK have worked closely with Dr Boon Lim to produce this series of videos that we hope will provide knowledge, support and guidance whilst awaiting your first appointment. We would like to thank Dr Lim for giving up his  time to help create this content. Please be aware that Dr Lim’s service is ONLY available to patients living in North West London. Referrals from outside of this area will be rejected.

There is a lot of information to take in and we suggest pacing yourselves and watching no more than two videos at a time. It may be helpful to take notes throughout, so we recommend having a pen and paper to hand.

We have produced a simple checklist so you can easily keep track of which videos you have watched. Remember you can watch these videos as many times as you need. They may be helpful to watch with family members to help them understand your needs better.

Click on the extra resources button below each video for further useful information relating to that topic.

Feedback and Donations

We would be grateful if at the end of each video you could complete the very short survey (found in the further resources drop down) to try and help us improve them in the future.

These videos have been created by PoTS UK, made possible thanks to funding from the charity and the incredible generosity of our community. We’re so grateful to everyone who has donated or fundraised to help bring this programme to life.

If you’re able to support us, we’d really appreciate it, please consider donating here:

Important note about Dr Lim’s service

Dr Lim leads the syncope service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust based at Hammersmith Hospital in London. Due to overwhelming and unsustainable demand , Dr Lim and this service are not accepting referrals from outside of North West London. Please do not ask your GP/Health Care Provider to make a referral to him if you are not within North West London as this will be rejected.
